IRFAN PANDITHPORI Appeals to Address Vocational Trainers' Issues and Release Withheld Salaries
The Chairman of District Development Council Kupwara, Irfan Sultan Pandithpori, extends his heartfelt concern over the pressing issues faced by vocational trainers employed under various government schemes in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. These trainers, who play a crucial role in empowering the youth with practical skills and vocational education, have been facing undue hardships due to the delay in the disbursement of their salaries.
It is disheartening to note that these hardworking trainers, despite their dedication to shaping the future of our youth, are compelled to endure financial distress due to prolonged salary delays. This not only demoralizes the workforce but also hampers the smooth functioning of vocational training programs critical to the state’s development.
I, on behalf of the District Development Council Kupwara, urgently appeal to the Government of Jammu & Kashmir to:
1. Expedite the Release of Salaries: Immediate steps must be taken to clear the withheld salaries of vocational trainers to alleviate their financial struggles.
2. Streamline Payment Mechanisms: Establish a transparent and time-bound mechanism to ensure regular and timely payment of salaries to avoid future delays.
3. Address Grievances: A dedicated grievance redressal system should be put in place to address the concerns of vocational trainers effectively.
The vocational training sector is the backbone of skill development and employment generation in our region. Neglecting the welfare of trainers will have long-term repercussions on the state’s progress. Therefore, I urge the concerned authorities to prioritize this matter and ensure justice is delivered to the affected trainers at the earliest.
The District Development Council Kupwara reaffirms its commitment to supporting the welfare of all stakeholders contributing to the development of our society. We stand in solidarity with the vocational trainers and assure them of our continued efforts to resolve their issues.
