Imran Amin Shah Criticizes PDP, Urges Introspection Over Failures

Anantnag, December 17, 2024: Senior National Conference (NC) leader Imran Amin Shah has criticized the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for its recent remarks about the NC government. Shah accused the PDP of implementing a self-serving agenda that has caused suffering for the people of Jammu and Kashmir due to its failure to address public issues effectively.

Shah highlighted instances of alleged corruption and nepotism within the PDP, questioning the party’s involvement in recruitment scams and illegal allotments to relatives. He stated that the PDP bears responsibility for the challenges faced by Jammu and Kashmir following the events of August 5, 2019.

He advised the PDP leadership to engage in self-reflection and to apologize to the people of Jammu and Kashmir for their misadventures, rather than criticizing others. Shah emphasized that the public is aware of the National Conference’s achievements, even within a short two-month tenure, and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to fulfilling its promises under the leadership of Omar Abdullah.

“The people of Jammu and Kashmir have long suffered due to the irresponsible governance of parties like the PDP. In contrast, the National Conference is focused on delivering results. We will leave no stone unturned in our mission to restore the rights and dignity of the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” Shah stated.

He reiterated the National Conference’s dedication to the region’s welfare, outlining plans to focus on job creation, infrastructure development, and improved governance for the betterment of all communities in Jammu and Kashmir.
