𝐒.𝐉.𝐌. 𝐆𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐆 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

The government on Tuesday appointed S.J.M. Gillani, an IPS officer from the 1994 batch, as the Special Director General (Coordination) at the Police Headquarters, effective immediately.

According to the official order, Gillani will continue in his role as Managing Director of the Jammu and Kashmir Police Housing Corporation. He has also been serving as the Commandant General for Home Guards, Civil Defence, and the SDRF.

Meanwhile, Alok Kumar, a 1997-batch IPS officer and current Director of J&K Fire and Emergency Services, has been given the additional charge of Commandant General for Home Guards and Civil Defence.
