AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Saturday described his participation in the all-party delegation visiting key partner countries as a crucial responsibility and affirmed his commitment to representing India’s fight against cross-border terrorism and Operation Sindoor.

Speaking to ANI, Owaisi emphasized that the initiative transcends party lines and is focused on national interest.

โ€œThis isnโ€™t about political affiliations. Itโ€™s a significant task, and I will do my utmost to fulfill it,โ€ he stated.

Owaisi noted that his group is expected to be led by Baijayant Jay Panda, and include MPs Nishikant Dubey, Phangnon Konyak, Rekha Sharma, Satnam Singh Sandhu, and Ghulam Nabi Azad. Their expected itinerary includes the UK, France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, and Denmark.

โ€œOur role is to explain to the world how Pakistan is trying to destabilize India. Weโ€™ll share how cross-border terrorism has led to the deaths of civilians and soldiers alike โ€” 21 civilians, including 4 children, and 5 jawans have been killed. Weโ€™ll convey Indiaโ€™s vision and reality as accurately as possible.โ€

The seven-member all-party delegation will travel to important international capitals, including UN Security Council member states, to counter false narratives and affirm Indiaโ€™s stance on terrorism.

Earlier, BJP MP Baijayant Panda stressed the importance of combating Pakistanโ€™s global propaganda. He stated that the outreach is intended not only for foreign governments but also for media, academia, and public opinion influencers.

โ€œOperation Sindoor dealt a strong blow to Pakistanโ€™s army. Itโ€™s vital that the global community hears Indiaโ€™s perspective clearly and truthfully, especially concerning the situation in Jammu and Kashmir,โ€ Panda said.

India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7 in retaliation to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed 26 lives. In precision strikes across Pakistan and PoJK, India eliminated over 100 terrorists.

The delegation, which includes MPs from across party lines, senior politicians, and diplomats, will convey a united message of zero tolerance toward terrorism on behalf of the nation.
