SRINAGAR, APRIL 09 : In a major boost to medical education in Jammu and Kashmir, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has accredited the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar for the DrNB Thoracic Surgery program.

The accreditation represents a key milestone, strengthening the region’s capacity for advanced medical training.

GMC Srinagar Principal congratulated HOD CVTS Prof (Dr) Mohammad Akbar Bhat, the faculty, staff of the CVTS department, Deputy Registrar Academics Prof (Dr) Mohammad Saleem Ittoo, and the administration for the accomplishment.
