New Delhi, May 12 : In a major relief for air passengers, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has announced the early resumption of civil flight operations at 32 airports, including Srinagar Airport, after a brief suspension.
The suspension, originally slated to remain in effect until 5:29 AM on May 15, 2025, was lifted earlier than anticipated. Although the AAI did not disclose the specific reason behind the closure, the move had led to widespread disruption in air travel across several regions.
With flight operations now restored, the decision is expected to significantly reduce passenger inconvenience and help normalize services on impacted routes.
The AAI has advised travellers to confirm their flight status directly with airlines and stay updated through official airline websites for any further schedule changes. The directive was issued by the Directorate of AAI.
