𝐁𝐉𝐏 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐔𝐫𝐢, 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐬

BJP National Executive Member and J&K Waqf Board Chairperson Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, along with BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul and MLAs Shakti Parihar and Balwant Singh Mankotia, visited the border areas of Uri on Saturday to provide relief to families affected by recent cross-border shelling.

The delegation distributed aid kits and cash assistance, with Dr. Andrabi personally handing over financial help to several impacted families. The team interacted with local residents to understand the difficulties they were facing in the aftermath of Pakistani shelling on civilian settlements.

Expressing solidarity, the BJP leaders assured full support from the party and the central government to the victims. Dr. Andrabi, while speaking to the media, condemned Pakistan’s actions, stating that the neighboring country relies on terrorism and proxy warfare while India stands firm with its capable armed forces. “They cowardly targeted civilians, while India responded by dismantling terror infrastructure,” she said.

Ashok Koul echoed the condemnation, describing the aggression as a desperate and cowardly act that violated international norms. “Targeting innocent civilians reveals Pakistan’s moral failure. India has responded firmly and will not tolerate such provocations under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership,” he asserted.

The delegation also underlined the importance of building permanent shelters and improving safety infrastructure in vulnerable border areas to safeguard residents during future incidents.

The visit included several BJP leaders, including Anwar Khan, Mudasir Wani, Dr. Fareeda Khan, Sajid Yousuf Shah, MM War, Sahil Bashir Bhat, Manzoor Bhat, and Baramulla District President along with his team.
