𝐀𝐳𝐚𝐝: 𝐏𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝’𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬

Srinagar, May 26: Ghulam Nabi Azad, Chairman of the Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, stated during an all-party Indian delegation visit to Bahrain that Pakistan may host more terrorists than the rest of the world combined.

Speaking during the visit, Azad praised Bahrain’s peaceful coexistence among diverse religious communities, calling it a “mini India.” He emphasized that while Indian politicians may represent different parties, they stand united as Indians abroad.

“Pakistan was formed on religious grounds, yet it couldn’t maintain unity between its eastern and western regions. In contrast, India thrives with people of all faiths living together in harmony,” he said.

Former Indian diplomat Harsh Vardhan Shringla, also part of the delegation, emphasized India and Bahrain’s strong anti-terrorism partnership. He highlighted a counter-terrorism agreement signed in 2015 and the launch of a joint security dialogue in 2019, reaffirming both countries’ commitment to regular agency-level exchanges to combat terrorism.

The delegation, led by BJP MP Baijayant Jay Panda, includes MPs Nishikant Dubey, Phangnon Konyak, Rekha Sharma, AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi, Satnam Singh Sandhu, Ghulam Nabi Azad, and Ambassador Shringla. Their tour covers Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Algeria, aiming to engage regional leaders, clarify India’s stance following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, and push back against misinformation while promoting India’s firm stand against cross-border terrorism.
