YOUTH FOR PANUN KASHMIR AND ROOTS IN KASHMIR OUTRIGHTLY REJECT MIRWAIZ’S DECEPTIVE CALL FOR “TRUST-BUILDING”
Youth 4 Panun Kashmir and Roots in Kashmir have firmly rejected Mirwaiz Umar Farooq’s misleading statement in the media, which advocates for “trust-building” as a prerequisite for the return of Kashmiri Pandits. His words are an insult to the victims of genocide and a sinister attempt to shift blame from the perpetrators to the survivors.
Where was the trust when mosques across Kashmir issued threats, ordering Kashmiri Pandits to leave, convert, or die?
Where was the trust when Hindu men were lined up and shot while their wives and children were forced to witness these horrific killings?
Where was the trust when Kashmiri Pandit women were raped, and their mutilated bodies left as trophies of jihad?
Where was the trust when Kashmiri Pandit homes were looted, our temples desecrated, and our entire population was driven out in the name of Azadi and Pakistan?
Mirwaiz and his radical ecosystem have never condemned the genocide of Kashmiri Pandits. They have shielded the murderers, glorified terrorism, and spread venomous propaganda against India. Today, as Kashmir reels from decades of terror, Mirwaiz plays victim while his supporters continue targeting Hindus.
“There is no reconciliation with those who celebrated our genocide,” said Amit Raina, Spokesperson, Roots in Kashmir.
“The killers do not decide the terms of our return. We will return with dignity, on our own terms—not at the mercy of those who slaughtered us,” said Rajesh Kachroo, Senior Member, Panun Kashmir.
Both the organisations are clear, that the community at large believes that NO RECONCILIATION WITH GENOCIDAIRES
