Traffic Police Intensifies Monitoring of Violations via CCTV: SSP Traffic Muzaffar Shah

Srinagar, December 18: The Traffic Police Department has ramped up efforts to curb traffic violations by leveraging advanced CCTV surveillance systems, announced SSP Traffic, Muzaffar Shah.

According to SSP Shah, the use of CCTV technology has enabled the department to closely monitor and address traffic rule violations in real time, ensuring better regulation on the roads. “This initiative is aimed at enhancing road safety and ensuring compliance with traffic laws. Stringent action will be taken against violators as per the Motor Vehicles Act,” he said.

The department urges commuters to adhere to traffic norms to avoid penalties and contribute to a safer road environment. Citizens are also encouraged to report any violations they witness to further aid the department in maintaining discipline on the roads.
