The State Investigation Agency (SIA) in Jammu has filed a chargesheet against key operatives of “Kashmir Fight,” a social media platform used by the proscribed terrorist organization The Resistance Front (TRF) to issue threats against migrant Kashmiri Pandit employees.

In February 2024, the platform published a series of threatening posts targeting these employees, prompting an investigation by SIA Jammu. The investigation led to the arrest of Farhaan Muzaffar Mattoo from Srinagar, who allegedly collected and shared sensitive information about the targeted employees. Mattoo is accused of acting as a conduit, using encrypted communication platforms to transmit critical data to handlers in Pakistan, who then disseminated threats via “Kashmir Fight.”

The chargesheet also identifies Sheikh Sajjad Ahmad, alias Sajjad Gul, originally from Srinagar and now operating from Pakistan, as the mastermind behind the intimidation campaign aimed at disrupting communal harmony in the Union Territory. This development underscores the commitment of Jammu and Kashmir Police to safeguard citizens and maintain peace in the region.

The chargesheet was submitted to the 3rd Additional Sessions Judge in Jammu on December 23, 2024.
