Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday inaugurated the “Almond Bloom Festival” at Srinagarโs historic Badamwari garden, symbolizing the arrival of spring in Kashmir.
The festival, organized by the Tourism and Floriculture Departments, saw participation from senior officials, artists, and the public. Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Chowdhury, NC chief spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, and Director Tourism were among the dignitaries present.
A grand musical show featuring renowned Kashmiri artists Noor Mohammad, Aayan Sajad, Irfan Bilal, and Zaid Sikandar captivated the audience with live performances.
The festival not only highlights the mesmerizing almond blossoms of Badamwari but also aims to showcase Kashmirโs natural beauty and promote local talent.
