Srinagar, December 18, 2024 – The Meteorological (MeT) Department has issued a ‘Yellow’ weather alert for isolated regions across Jammu & Kashmir, warning of possible adverse weather conditions in the coming days. The alert highlights potential localized disruptions due to weather activity, and residents are advised to remain cautious and stay updated.

Speaking on the development, MeT Director explained the significance of the yellow alert, emphasizing that it is a precautionary warning aimed at raising awareness about localized weather events that could impact day-to-day activities, particularly in vulnerable areas.
