JKPCC Chief Tariq Hamid Karra Denounces Dual Control in J&K Administration

Srinagar, December 15: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Chief Tariq Hamid Karra expressed deep concern over the marginalization of Kashmiri officers under the current administrative structure. He criticized the “dual control” between the elected government and the LG administration, which he claims is creating confusion and mental strain among officials.

Karra further warned that this governance structure is causing public suffering and could lead to unrest. Reiterating Congress’s commitment, he emphasized the need for restoring full statehood to J&K.
