Javid Quershi Criticizes Government’s Inaction, Calls it a "Deaf and Dumb" Administration
Srinagar, December 19, 2024: Political leader Javid Quershi has come down heavily on the newly elected Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) government, calling it a “deaf and dumb administration” for its failure to address pressing issues faced by the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
In a strongly worded statement, Quershi criticized the government’s inefficient and lackluster approach to governance. He highlighted the administration’s inability to tackle rising unemployment, infrastructural neglect, and the deteriorating state of public services. According to him, the government’s inaction reflects a disconnect from the aspirations of the people it claims to represent.
“The JKNC-led administration has failed to deliver on its promises. Their inefficiency is evident in every sphere of governance. It seems they are deaf to the voices of the common man and dumb when it comes to responding to the challenges of our state,” Quershi said.
He further called for immediate remedial measures and demanded that the government prioritize the welfare of the people rather than focusing on political rhetoric. Quershi urged the administration to act swiftly to address key issues, warning that continued inaction could erode public trust and confidence in governance.
This critique comes amid growing public discontent and rising criticism of the JKNC government’s performance since assuming office.
