Jammu, June 04: The Jammu and Kashmir State Bharat Scouts and Guides successfully organised the Rajya Puraskar Testing Camp 2025 and Tritiya Sopan Camp at the Trekking Base Camp in Patnitop from May 31 to June 4. A total of 112 Scouts and Guides from the districts of Jammu, Doda, Kathua, Samba, and Udhampur took part in the training programme.

 

The camp was inaugurated by the Warden of the Trekking Base Camp from the Department of Youth Services and Sports, Government of J&K. Both camps adhered to the APRO II and APRO III guidelines and were managed by staff from the State Headquarters in Jammu.

 

The event was held under the guidance of S. Rajinder Singh Tara, JKAS (State Chief Commissioner, J&K Bharat Scouts and Guides), and Nasreen Khan (State Secretary-cum-Administrative Officer). Alongside training and testing, a cleanliness drive was carried out at Patnitop, demonstrating the participants’ dedication to environmental care.

 

The camp’s activities were led by Manjeet Kour (JSTC), K.L. Sharma (HQ Commissioner, Accounts Officer), Neeru Talwar (ALT), Haroon Malik (HWB), and other invited staff, Scout Masters, and Guide Captains.
