Srinagar, May 18: To carry out stabilisation, branch cutting, and routine maintenance, scheduled power shutdowns will take place on various 33KV lines, affecting multiple areas.

 

From May 19 to May 24, the 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Waterhail, Waterwani, Charangam, and the PHE Filtration Plant will be offline from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, disrupting power to Waterhail, Sholipora, Lobertal, Dadina, Prisabad, Samsaan, Parthan, PHE Substation, Charangam, Banegund, Punchgund, Uttligam, and surrounding areas.

 

On May 19, the 33KV Nowbugh Chadoora line will undergo shutdown from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, affecting the Receiving Stations at Chadoora, Panzan, and Ranger. This will impact electricity supply in Sogam, Rapora, Dawlatpora, Panzan, Lalgam, Chadoora, Chadoora Hospital, Wathoora, Budgam, and nearby locations.

 

Also on May 19, the 33KV Nowbugh Charisharief line will be shut down between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. The Receiving Stations at Char-I, Char-II, Hafroo, and Nagam will be offline, affecting Kakawring, Yousmarg, Charisharief, Rakhayee, ITI Charisharief, Shrine, Tilsera, Badipora, Nagam, Hayatpora, Buzgoo, Loolipora, Hafroo, and adjacent areas.

 

Further, the 33KV Alastengโ€“Nagbal line will be shut down on May 19 and May 21 to allow for upgrades and stabilisation. The 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Alasteng, Nagbal, Gadoora, and Tulbagh will be off, impacting power supply to Shuhama, Bakura, Darend, Nagbal, Fatehpora, Gadoora, Tulbagh, Chunduna, Shairpathri, Pandach, and nearby areas from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

 

The 33KV Alastengโ€“Zakura line will also be shut down on May 19 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. This will affect the Receiving Stations at Gulabagh, Ahmad Nagar, and Umarhair, disrupting power to Pathan Colony, Gulabagh, Mir Mohalla, Umarhair, Nowbugh, Ahmad Nagar, 90 ft Road, Khalmullah, and surrounding areas.

 

Additionally, on May 19, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, the 33KV Handwara HOT line at Vadipora will be shut down for road widening work, affecting Receiving Stations at Handwara, Chogul, and Pohrupeth.

 

Lastly, the 33KV Yariporaโ€“Behibagh Tap line will be shut down on May 19 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm for tree removal near the line. The Behibagh Receiving Station will be off, impacting power supply to Sempora, Alamgung, Daderkoot, Behibagh, Kadder, Harmain Shopian, and nearby areas.
