𝐒𝐇𝐎, 𝐂𝐨𝐩𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐣𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐠 𝐏𝐞𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐬’ 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤

Srinagar, April 10: Several police personnel, including a Station House Officer (SHO), were injured late last night in an attack by suspected drug peddlers in the Bari Brahmana area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district.

According to reports, a police team had gone to the Balole Khad area in search of certain suspects when they were assaulted by the accused. Among those injured was the SHO, and three of the injured officers were later shifted to a hospital in Amritsar for treatment.

An official said that the area has been cordoned off as efforts are underway to apprehend the attackers.
