According to a spokesperson from the MeT Department, the region will experience โ€œgenerally dryโ€ conditions from April 15 to 17. Between April 18 and 20, the weather is expected to turn cloudy, with light to moderate rain and snowfall over higher altitudes.

The department also indicated a likelihood of moderate to heavy rain at isolated to scattered locations on April 18 and 19, along with thunder and gusty winds starting from the evening of April 18.

For April 21, the forecast suggests cloudy skies with chances of light rain and thunderstorms at several places. Weather conditions are expected to improve on April 22 and 23, remaining mostly dry. However, cloudy skies may return on April 26 and 27.

The MeT advisory warns of potential landslides, mudslides, and shooting stones in vulnerable areas during the wet spell from April 18 to 20. Farmers have been advised to continue their agricultural activities until April 17. Meanwhile, travelers, tourists, and transporters are urged to plan ahead, keeping official weather and traffic advisories in mind.
