Pulwama, May 21: The Peopleโs Democratic Party (PDP) held a youth engagement and social media outreach event in south Kashmirโs Pulwama district, aiming to boost grassroots involvement and discuss major local concerns.
The event was led by District President G.M. Shahoora, who highlighted the need for deeper public connection. During the session, PDP leader Zuhaib Yousuf Mir criticized the National Conference (NC) for allegedly failing to deliver on their manifesto promises. He accused the NC of warmongering and claimed it had a silent alliance with the BJP. Mir also criticised the Chief Minister for what he termed as inaction on the growing issue of unemployment. He stressed the importance of direct engagement with the youth to understand and resolve their issues.
Another senior PDP leader, Bashir Beigh, emphasized the need to strengthen the partyโs grassroots presence and enhance youth outreach to bring about impactful change.
The event reaffirmed PDPโs commitment to youth empowerment, tackling unemployment, and promoting open dialogue with the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
