Srinagar, May 17: Delivering a strong warning from the forward posts in north Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday declared that no area in Pakistan is beyond the reach of the Indian Army. Accusing Pakistan of sponsoring terrorism and disturbing peace in India, Sinha said that after witnessing the Indian forces’ powerful response, Pakistan has been compelled to seek support from the international community.

“India has always preferred peace and not war, but our armed forces are fully equipped to handle any threat. The world has witnessed their bravery, which led Pakistan to plead globally,” Sinha stated while addressing soldiers near the Line of Control (LoC) in the Tangdhar sector of Kupwara district.

He praised the Indian Armyโ€™s bravery and commitment, expressing deep respect for their dedication. โ€œI salute your bravery and love for Maa Bharati. India is safe in your hands,โ€ he said.

Highlighting Indiaโ€™s rising global standing, Sinha noted that the country is well on its way to becoming the fourth-largest economy in the world, currently ranking fifth. โ€œThis economic progress reflects our vision of a strong and developed India,โ€ he added.

Sinha also criticized Pakistan for fueling violence in Jammu and Kashmir despite its economic struggles. โ€œOur neighbour is spreading terror using borrowed money. But they now understand the strength of our response,โ€ he remarked.

Earlier, the Lieutenant Governor visited villages in the Tangdhar sector affected by recent shelling. He reviewed the damage along with senior officials and spoke directly with impacted residents.

โ€œMany homes and shops were damaged by the shelling. I came to see the situation personally and hear from the people,โ€ he told the media.

Sinha confirmed that emergency aid had already been provided but acknowledged that more assistance is needed. โ€œSome families still need help. We are committed to supporting everyone affected,โ€ he said.

He added that the Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir, along with other top officials, would soon draft a detailed rehabilitation plan. โ€œWe will forward the report to the central government and ensure all affected families are fully rehabilitated with proper support,โ€ Sinha assured.
