Rajouri, May 21: A Panchayat-level awareness program under the Mission YUVA initiative was held at Panchayat Ghar Kotedhara, organized by the District Employment and Counselling Centre (DE&CC) on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma.

 

The event aimed to empower youth and promote self-employment by encouraging entrepreneurship, skill development, and financial assistance under the governmentโ€™s Mission YUVA scheme. It drew enthusiastic participation from unemployed youth and budding entrepreneurs from Kotedhara and nearby Panchayats.

 

Deputy Director DE&CC, Mohammad Nawaz, provided detailed information on Mission YUVAโ€™s key features, including eligibility and the application process. A live demonstration of the Mission YUVA mobile app and online portal was also conducted to help attendees understand how to apply.

 

The program saw the involvement of youth, PRI members, and community leaders, reflecting strong community support for youth-oriented initiatives. It also emphasized inter-departmental cooperation to effectively implement youth empowerment schemes.
