By Srinagar, May 17: The University of Kashmir has extended the deadline for submitting online application forms until May 26, 2025, for various programs, allowing more time for students who have yet to apply. Dr. Fayaz Ahmad, Director of Admissions & Competitive Examinations, informed Rising Kashmir that this extension follows requests from prospective students. The extension covers programs listed in Admission Notifications No. 02, 03, and 04 of 2025, issued on April 15, April 23, and May 5.
Dr. Fayaz stated that the extended programs include the 5-Year Integrated UG-PG courses such as BA-LL.B. (Honours), Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, B.Sc.-M.Sc. in Electronics, Physics, Energy Studies, BA-M.A. in Arabic, and B.Sc.-M.Sc. in Botany. Additionally, admissions to the 4-Year UG Program via the Design Your Degree Mode will be granted based on entrance exam qualifications and university criteria.
For the 4-Year B.Tech program, selection will be based on the best two scores from the JEE Mains exam. Meanwhile, the 4-Year BPA and B.Mus. programs will not require entrance exams, with admissions determined by merit from 12th-grade qualifying exams in any stream.
