Jammu, April 4: The Jammu Development Authority (JDA) on Thursday carried out a demolition drive, removing several structures allegedly built illegally on 15 kanals of prime land in the Gole area of Jammu city.
The anti-encroachment operation took place near Government Degree College in Bhagwati Nagar, Gole village, under the supervision of JDA Vice Chairman Pankaj Sharma.
Officials reported that three unauthorized houses and nine plinths were demolished during the drive, successfully reclaiming the land belonging to JDA.
“This action sends a clear message that illegal encroachments will not be tolerated,” a JDA spokesperson stated.
