𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬’ 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐚𝐦 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭

Budgam, June 11: The Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), Budgam, launched the Inter-Zonal District Level Girls’ Competitions in Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, and Volleyball for the under-14 age group at the Sports Stadium Budgam.

Organised under the guidance of DYSSO Budgam, Ghulam Hassan Lone, the event was formally inaugurated by Incharge Activity Shakeel ur Rehman Lone. The stadium came alive with excitement as young girls from various zones participated, displaying impressive energy, enthusiasm, and athletic skill.

Designated conveners are overseeing the smooth execution of the event. In keeping with DYSSO Budgam’s emphasis on safety, medical facilities have been arranged on-site to handle any health concerns. The department continues to promote girls’ involvement in sports and aims to cultivate a vibrant and competitive sporting culture in the district.
