Srinagar, April 19: Four individuals sustained injuries after a minibus accident near Gooripora Padgampora in the Awantipora area on Saturday.

According to officials, the vehicle lost control and collided with a divider along the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway at the Awantipora bypass. The injured were quickly taken to a nearby hospital, with oneโ€”identified as Sumitra from Chhattisgarhโ€”referred to a hospital in Srinagar for advanced treatment.

The other injured have been identified as Mukesh Kumar from Akhnoor, Jammu; Vikas, son of Narinder Singh, also from Jammu; and Hari Shankar from Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.

Police have registered the case and initiated further proceedings.
