Srinagar, April 17: In a major move against financial cybercrime, Cyber Police Kashmir, in coordination with local police units, conducted several raids across Srinagar and Ganderbal districts on Thursday.
According to reliable sources, at least three locations were targeted early in the morning, focusing on individuals suspected of aiding fraudulent transactions by using bank accounts opened in their names — often termed as mule accounts.
The raids were initiated based on credible intelligence and technical surveillance, with Cyber Police Kashmir actively probing a network of people who allegedly provided their personal credentials for such illegal activities.
