The death toll in the Saragaon accident in Chhattisgarh has climbed to 13, according to Raipur SP Lal Ummed Singh.

He said, โ€œResidents from Chataud village were returning from a Chatthi ceremony in Bana Banarasi when their vehicle met with an accident on the Raipur-Balodabazar road. Thirteen people lost their lives, and 12 others sustained injuries. All injured have been taken to the hospital for urgent medical care.โ€

The accident occurred when a truck carrying the passengers collided with a trailer near Saragaon. Several injured victims were rushed to Dr B.R. Ambedkar Memorial Hospital in Raipur.
