
Srinagar, Apr 18: Continuing its crackdown on unlawful activities and efforts to dismantle the terror network, Baramulla Police conducted a search operation on April 17, 2025, at the residence of Masqood Allie, son of Mohammad Sultan Allie, a resident of Chakloo, Baramulla. The operation was carried out in connection with FIR No. 12/2024 under sections 10 and 13 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UA(P)A).
According to a police statement shared with GNS, the search was conducted in the presence of an Executive Magistrate and led to the recovery of several incriminating items. These included six posters of the “Muslim League – Masrat Alam Faction,” a membership card, a Lava keypad phone with SIM card, a Samsung smartphone (with battery and SIM removed), a white USB pendrive, a locket-type pendrive, and Rs 30,000 in cash.
All items have been seized and recorded as evidence. The investigation is ongoing, and appropriate legal action will follow as it progresses.
Baramulla Police reiterated its commitment to ensuring peace and security in the district and stated that strict measures will continue against all elements involved in unlawful activities
