Widespread rainfall across the Northeast has also led to flooding and landslides in Manipur, Tripura, Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall over the Northeastern states for the next two days, with a gradual decrease in intensity thereafter.
